WEAR RED FOR
PUBLIC ED!
On Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, the Red Hook Faculty Association proudly joined the nationwide movement of the AFT "Wear Red for Public Ed." campaign. This day was dedicated to showing solidarity with educators, students, and communities across the country, advocating for the support and funding that public education deserves.
By wearing red, the RHFA reinforced its commitment to fighting for quality education and a stronger, more equitable system for all. We stand united with our colleagues nationwide, ensuring that the voices of public education professionals are heard and valued.
COMMON GROUND OVER CHAOS
On Monday, October 7th, RHFA President April Montgomery joined NYSUT President Melinda Person and other local union presidents to support the Common Ground Over Chaos bus tour across New York State.

This campaign encourages voters to support candidates that support public education and value democracy, compromise, and healthy debate.
